>>First of all, you're making more spurious allegations about an organization with which you've already admitted you're not familiar<<
>>> Really? Where did I "admit" any such thing?
When you said that you got your information about their view of the world from their website...which, to anyone who examines their website, is readily evident that no such "world view" is declared.
>>Second, there no evidence that any Christian University offers a more "sanitized view of the world" than any other University...simply a "different" view. What does seem evident, is that a Christian University would promote a strong Christian value system and morality, while universities swathed in liberalism would tend to promote the mediocrity and lack of values that is so often espoused by the left.<<
>>> I have not mentioned "any Christian University", in fact quite clearly said that I don't think simply being a Christian University means a school has sanitized views. I've mentioned Bob Jones University and its sanitized views -- and given you a place to find them. I understand that you cannot see what I'm talking about.
I'm afraid that you repeating obscure generalities do not help clarify or further your argument.
>>A church of non-belief belief. It sounds very interesting.<<
>>> I'm sure a "church of non-belief belief" would be interesting. I wouldn't know though as that doesn't describe my church.
Thus far, the only information we've been able to glean about your church is that it espouses beliefs that are not contradicted by the beliefs of any other faith. This is an interesting anomaly. Perhaps you'd care to tell us more about your church?
Yes, I believe that she did mention her young children.
Nope, I didn't - I have barely mentioned my own kids at all.
She didn't specify...and as she was making references to my children without knowing their ages, I would assume that she was not overly concerned with being "age specific."
Oh, well, and the fact that we were talking about universities and colleges this entire time had no bearing on my meaning, right?
<>
Thanks for not answering my question.
>>We've been discussing college-age kids, who are legally adults, and the parents who try to limit their learning and tell them what to think.<<
Yes, that was what I thought you were discussing too, but apparently when she said she'd pull her kids out of a school if she found someone who signed the petition was teaching there, and you mentioned Brandeis and Columbia -- she thought you were referring to Brandeis Elementary School, and Columbia Preschool ;-)
>>When you said that you got your information about their view of the world from their website...which, to anyone who examines their website, is readily evident that no such "world view" is declared.<<
Considering you are apparently having trouble understanding that a reference to children attending schools in discussion about University professors who signed a petition which specifically refers to several top-notch Universities is talking about University aged children, I'm afraid what you fine "evident" may not have much connection to what actually exists.
>>Thus far, the only information we've been able to glean about your church is that it espouses beliefs that are not contradicted by the beliefs of any other faith. This is an interesting anomaly. Perhaps you'd care to tell us more about your church?<<
Not particularly.
More Than 5 Million Dollars for Obama's Greek Temple
Politics | Sat, Oct 25, 2008 at 7:38:45 pm PST
The Obama campaign, in conjunction with the entire mainstream media, has been attacking Sarah Palin for letting the RNC spend $150,000 on her wardrobe, as she runs for Vice President of the United States.
But the Obama campaign spent 5.3 million dollars for that phony Greek temple in Denver’s Invesco Field. For one night.
Not a peep from the media.
In its FEC filing, the host committee said it incurred $53.67 million in operating expenses and spent $53.86 million.
Most of that money went to pay expenses of the Democratic National Convention Committee, the party organization that staged the DNC. Nine percent of the host committee’s money went to pay its own expenses, which included salaries, marketing and staging various events off the convention grounds.
Convention expenses paid by the committee included $14.1 million for construction costs, including the stage and lighting, at the Pepsi Center and $5.3 million at Invesco Field.
And they aren’t finished paying yet:
The group said it has $7.1 million on hand but still is receiving invoices from contractors. It plans to file an updated report with those expenditures later.

>>Original LA Times story re; Obama attends Jew bashing party for terrorist:<<
That isn't the headline to the LA Times story, which is actually "Allies of Palestinians see a friend in Barack Obama"
>>> Nope, I didn't - I have barely mentioned my own kids at all.
Sorry, I must have been remembering another post.
>>> We've been discussing college-age kids, who are legally adults, and the parents who try to limit their learning and tell them what to think. Whole different ball of wax altogether.
How can a parent limit the learning of another adult?
>>> Although I suspect you already knew that and were simply twisting things to fit your own views and agenda. Not surprising.
There's no need to twist anything...the liberal indoctrination of our kids, regardless of age, is obviously damaging to them personally and to society as a whole.
