I believe Hamas on this one, that's sad.

According to Federal Election Commission filings, Barack Obama has received illegal donations from Palestinians living in Gaza, a hotbed of Hamas terrorists. Obama received more than $24,000 in campaign contributions over a period of two months last fall from three Palestinian brothers from the “Edwan” family in Rafah, Gaza, which is a Hamas stronghold along the border with Egypt. The story was uncovered by Pamela Geller of the Atlas Shrugs blog. (see Federal Election Commission report)
“The donations are basically through and through illegal — that’s number one. And number two is how the Obama campaign tried to conceal it,” Schlussel Terrorist with hostagechides. “They listed the campaign contributions as coming from Rafah, Georgia. They used the ‘GA’ from Gaza so it makes it look like it’s legal; and then for the zip code it says ‘972,’ which is actually the area code to dial over to Gaza,” she contends.

you asked this question:
Can ANYONE answer me why, whenever a disreputable group or country or individual endorses Obama, it's PROOF of his shady associations, poor judgment, "judge a man by the company he keeps
to which I responded ... something along the lines of thinking they were either good people/groups or reformed ...
I'm not really gonna get involved in trying to determine which group actually thinks what about our Presidential election. In both instances, it's not as if there was some sort of official-on-company-letterhead endorsement from the group in question. There's evidence to indicate that perhaps the group really DOES think that....but more than anything else, I truly don't think we ought to be basing our decisions on what we THINK some middle-eastern violent group WANTS us to think -- if for no other reason than that there are more issues than simply middle-eastern terrorism...and even if there WEREN'T, it just sets a bad precedent to allow ANY non-American group to influence our collective decision-making process that much, especially when it's arguable that neither one of those groups wishes anything but ill to the US.
You might be right....I just don't wanna go there, don't think it's relevant or necessary.
What I won't tolerate, though, is conservatives trying to have their cake and eat it too when it comes to these things; so that every statement, no matter what it is, works to McCain's benefit and Obama's disadvantage. If that's how they're gonna try to play it, then I want some explanation of what logic can be applied to reach such absurd and - literally - irrational conclusions.
McCain LOST???
or maybe they just want to keep us fighting like rabid dogs?
not being sarcastic ...

Well, considering that the OP was talking about Hamas....and my response focused upon my confusion over the apparent lack of difference between a Hamas endorsement of Obama and an Al Qaeda endorsement of McCain, I'd have thought it was relatively clear that I wasn't talking about ACORN.
But you're correct, if you look at the one sentence of mine that you quoted, I don't specify in that sentence that I'm NOT talking about ACORN when I say "disreputable group." So let me say it now: I was not talking about ACORN or domestic groups or individuals. I'll try to be even more demonstrative in the future.
McCain LOST???
