This is pretty silly, and I actually 'kind of' understand it, although my DW didn't.

Plus, the foreign policy guy is probably fairly passionate about J.M's campaign and ideas....I mean, I'd love to be a presidential campaign advisor! I'd do it for a low fee.
But doing hair is doing hair...and the stylist prob. gets paid big bucks working in TV and Hollywood. It's not like she's like, yeah I'd love to do Sarah Palin's hair! There probably isn't too much of a difference between dressing/doing hair and make up of a politician than a celebrity, except the celebrity is
At least the stylist does a good job, right? Personally, I think SP would do just fine on her own when it comes to that! But they can't let her do anything on her own, can they?

Although, I suppose the extra work that's required in the makeup department to keep McCain from looking like The Crypt Keeper balances out the reduced effort that would be required to "beautify" his balding pate. So, on balance, it's probably a wash in terms of Beautician-hours expended.
Though honestly, I still think the guy who decides for McCain what country he should "bomb-bomb-bomb" next ought to get at least wage-parity with the pop-tart who tries to make him LOOK like the bomb to the general TV audience. ;o)
McCain LOST???
I this case, I could care less about Palin.
Over $2,000 for two weeks on the job????
Man! Am I in the wrong line of work.
