"GOP clerk apologizes for 'black Hitler' posts
'Never intended to offend anyone,' she says of online attack at Obama
FRANKLIN, Ind. - A Republican county clerk in Indiana said she apologized for distributing to two of her employees an Internet blog posting referring to Barack Obama as a "young, black Adolf Hitler."
According to a police report, the employees discovered printouts of the unsigned post at their desks after returning from Labor Day weekend. They had both voted for Obama in the Democratic primary.
Johnson County Clerk Jill Jackson told The Associated Press that she was merely passing along an item that already was circulating in the office and that she "never intended to offend anyone."
The posting does not mention Obama by name but refers to events in his life that make it clear Obama is the target.
Local Republican Party officials call the incident unacceptable, saying it taints Jackson's ability to appear unbiased in administering this year's election.

I wouldn't know anything about "Family Guy" as I have never watched the show. From what little I could glean from the commercials it looked like an idiotic show aimed at a low IQ population. I have also never watch Simpsons, American Dad, Futurama or the like. So, sorry, I really couldn't address the skit. I would say however that the show is on tv and you don't have to watch it if it offends you, you could, as I do, turn the channel. You could write a letter to the producer, or to the channel that airs the show.
In this instance: "A Republican county clerk in Indiana said she apologized for distributing to two of her employees" the material was left by a supervisor for two employees who had voted for Obama. This is a form of intimidation. If you can't see the implications of having your supervisor putting objectionable material on your desk then I don't know that we have a frame of reference for a discussion.
Now, why the attitude?
Kind of a convoluted question, but I think I know what you're asking.
Nice try.
