Eh? Whatever on earth do either gender or race have to do with the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, or the Declaration of Independence?

Bigotry is bigotry no matter how one may invoke historic documents or "love of country". Safeguards to freedoms of speech grant bigots right to express themselves but it does NOT follow that self-censorship is unhealthy. There are forms of "expression" (pornography, for instance) which most of us generally accept as NOT being salubrious.

Beware where your logic leads you or you may find yourself a card-carrying member,as I am, of the ACLU!

Hey, Fleur, did you know you needed to develop your mind?

While I am certain that all of use here could always make use of a little more "mental development," just on the theory that such a thing never hurts, I'm wondering why you apparently have decided that fleur's mind in particular needs to be "developed?"

Could you explain how you arrived at this conclusion about - apparently - just fleur?

Hey, you,

Certainly, I shall explain ... the individual involved in my recommendation mentions reading in their response, and then seems to me to lose touch with the present year - 2008 - and my short list of recommended reading would, I believe, explain a bit about the workings of our USA government.

All are welcome to respond, and my reading list may enlighten each of them, as well.
