If McCain is elected, will he intentionally start a war?

We need a leader who understands force is a last resort where a need for necessary resolution exists. I see McCain as someone who loses sight of this in favour of refusing to be bested on any issue - in order to prove he is a tough guy and top dog

Right we should just be in the business of allowing our enemy to test us right?

Well your statement assumes that we have identified all of the people who want to test us. That would imply that there is a definitive list somewhere. I have yet to see it but perhaps you have? Baring a definitive list, how exactly do you think Senator McCain plans to 'test' all of our enemies? I wonder if the Timothy McVey's of the world would be included on the list of people Senator McCain intends to 'test'. I further wondered how long it would take for Senator McCain to adequately 'test' all of our enemies and when he would then have time to attend to our financial problems. Given that he has already demonstrated his inability to attend to two things at once - remember the suspension of his campaign to 'solve the crisis'. I also wondered if he was aware that we are still in the midst of an economic crisis as he stated at that time that he was suspending his campaign until the crisis was solved and by all accounts has resumed his campaign. So either he feels the crisis is over, or he has realized he can't solve he problem. Which do you think it is?

I'm glad I don't live near tall building either. Glad I'm in the boonies, with a full freezer of food.

>>> Good Try with the Reagan example, another reason I will be voting for Obama/Biden just as the rest of my family already has!

The faithful must vote for the Obamessiah. LOL!

>>> Just loved it when McCain decided to concede Michigan.

Because he had the integrity to keep his promise of accepting public funding and had to focus his resources, while Barry lied and displayed, once again, his dark, if Pez dispenser-like, underbelly? I'll take the guy with honor and integrity...you take the Obamessiah.

>>> Also, thanks to the poster who did in fact bring up the Joe Lieberman speech about the next President being "tested."

Is it relevant? That's a generic view, unlike the scenario provided by "prophetic Joe." Biden didn't say "the next President would be tested" but that our enemies would intentionally generate an international crisis, on the level of the Cuban Missile Crisis, to test Barry specifically because he's naive and inexperienced...and that Barry's response would be wrong. I can see why thinking people would support Obama. LOL!

>>> We don't need another Dictator. This Veteran isn't voting McCain.

ROFL!!! Just a socialist...who wants to make DEEP cuts in defense spending...and who voted to cut funding for the troops in a war. Good thinking there.

>>> You lost me there. McCain said he was going to "test" them. I interpreted that to mean that he was going to (proactively) attack some country.

Personally, I think it was just campaign rhetoric...but beyond that, I took it to mean he was going to deal with our enemies from a position of strength and experience, rather than one of weakness and appeasement as Obama would do.

>>> He didn't say anything about the US not taking crap. He said he was going to dish crap out to test other countries. That is scary. Why try to start wars?

I don't think that McCain intends to start wars, but unlike Barry, he has a realistic view of the world and the way it works. You have to know your enemy in order to deal with them...McCain does...Obama doesn't.
