or bad weather deter you from voting?
I remember the 2004 election and the lines were really long, although I was happy to wait.

I too have an absentee ballot. When I fill it out, it will be with an ability to look online for information and stories about the more obscure candidates/races.
As long as the ballot gets counted,is worded and formatted for clear comprehension, and has well delineated directions on how to fill it out, am thinking it will be a great improvement over the lines, chaos, and lack of access to more information of Election Day itself.

And, why lookie here -- perhaps it's doing some good:
Interestingly, African Americans have by far the highest undecided percentage of racial groups in the state - which may indicate a sort of "reverse Bradley effect" (blacks lying to pollsters because they don't want to be stereotyped as voting along racial lines, but having already decided they're Obama supporters). This may yet push Obama into a squeaker of a win in Georgia. I don't believe it....I think this poll is probably an outlier...but MAN, would it feel good to send Jim Martin, an authentic progressive, to the Senate to replace the horrible Saxby Chambliss (who took out triple-amputee Max Cleland in 2002 by painting the war veteran as "soft on terrorism" and running ads with his picture next to Osama Bin Laden's) AND to turn the Peach State blue for Obama.
McCain LOST???
My absentee ballot was easy to understand, but it was long.
Personally, I don't believe in absentee voting unless one is really and truly going to be absent.
Absentee ballots are the only way to go.

I voted early b/c I never know day to day what my day at work will be like or what time I'll get off.
