An Obama funny

Today on my way to lunch I passed a homeless guy with a sign that read "Vote Obama, I need the money." I laughed.
Once in the restaurant my server had on a "Obama 08" tie, again I laughed as he had given away his political preference -- just imagine the coincidence.
When the bill came I decided not to tip the server and explained to him that I was exploring the Obama redistribution of wealth concept. He stood there in disbelief while I told him that I was going to redistribute his tip to someone who I deemed more in need--the homeless guy outside. The server angrily stormed from my sight.
I went outside, gave the homeless guy $10 and told him to thank the server inside as I've decided he could use the money more. The homeless guy was grateful.
At the end of my rather unscientific redistribution experiment I realized the homeless guy was grateful for the money he did not earn, but the waiter was pretty angry that I gave away the money he did earn even though the actual recipient deserved money more.
I guess redistribution of wealth is an easier thing to swallow in concept than in practical application.

This is the 3rd time (in the past week) that the right has tried to pass off right-wing rhetoric as a post to make the left think about who they are going to vote for.
We've already made up our minds. We are not afraid of Obama. After 8 yrs under Bush's dictatorship we have nothing to fear.
SOME people on the right side might think that your post was righteous and virtuous but I don't, even though you never actually did what you said you did. I might not be the most educated person here but you can see that for yourself as what I post here is true to myself. IMHO, you can have the highest degree and the highest IQ but if you come here and try to pass off junk on the internet it isn't going to get you anywhere. Did you think that we were all going to think "D'oh! I get it!! I'm going to vote for McCain!"
And do me one favor please...don't bother responding to my every sentence with your list of your responses (<<<<<<<<)
Seriously, I understand now and you don't have to waste your time.

Boy, I guess the McCain supporters just don't have much positive to say about their candidate, so they come up with lies, rumors and hoaxes to make there point.
We have the "fishy" tale about Michelle Obama ordering a $500 lobster snack. Someone even went through the trouble of photo shopping a phony receipt for it. One poster posted this lie, and claimed we "fell for it", although most of us either doubted the story to begin with or thought it was petty & irrelevant anyway even if it was true. Very interesting "logic " there. Post an out and out lie on the internet, and somehow, the people who respond to the post are wrong, not the person perpetrating the lie.
The we have the Ashley Todd mugging hoax.
Now we have this most likely fabricated story about some elaborate scheme to teach an Obama supporter a lesson. The story might be true, but I doubt that every person who is claiming to either be the person who put that Obama supporting waiter in his place or knowing them really is.
These Hoaxes are SO PATHETIC !!!!!
Hmm...
(((((Obama is going to 1) raise the taxes of the restaurant owner and 2) either force him to provide health insurance for the waitstaff or fine him. Bottom line, is that this restaurant owner just saw his cost of doing business go up.))))
If this business is reinvesting it's resources into its workforce by providing health insurance and higher wages, then that business owner will receive TAX CUTS to off-set any TAX INCREASES. A little knowledge is a dangerous thing. McCain and Palin regurgitate these lies on the stoop, and so I understand why their supporters
(((Even McCain can be quoted on explaining why the richest have to pay more (pre-candidate McCain that is).
((((I am embarassed by what you did.)))))
I am too. You summarized in this sentence what I tried to say in my long post...lol.
Congratulations, and thank you! You made this the thread with the lowest number of replies by mileaimn.
I get so tired of seeing the responses to every single line in every single post--all lacking substance.
