The talks with Israel concern the Golan. The Israelis have indicated the possibility of handing it back. This would not make the crazies in the US happy.
Is there some reason this attack had to be carried out two weeks before the election when the number of fighters crossing the border is down from 100/mo. in 2006 to 20/mo recently? Why didn't we do this in 2006?
