A college voter was purged and the reason was that he/she was not a citizen. Given the mismatched voter had only a week to prove citizenship, it was impossible.

In WI there was a 22% failure rate when the match test was applied.

When I checked our DS's voter reg status online his name came up as not registered, yet I was with him when he registered at the county office. When I called to inquire I was told that whoever entered his personal data put a space in our surname, and we do not use one.

Just think of all the mismatched that could occur because of typographical errors, and the people who might think, "Heck, they told me I'm not registered, I missed the deadiline for rectifying it, therefore, I can't vote."

This election is going to last for months after Nov 4th, I'm afraid. Between the mismatch thing and the machines switching votes from Obama to McCain in WV, it might have to be a total do-over. And we think we live in a democracy!

It's infuriating that this fraud continues.
