I agree. What I don't understand is the "love affair" the conservatives have with guns. I know they are needed for protection in a lot of cases, and hunters need them to shoot game, but I think they can be dangerous, and an instrument of crime.

"Giving" a kid a gun is not the same as allowing a kid to fire one under direct adult supervision.
Firearms can be dangerous, no argument.
They have a decent amount of muzzle rise in rapid fire, up and to the right generally.
