>Let's be honest, we CANNOT balance this budget without a tax increase unless we drastically cut spending. So long as we are involved in a war, that will not happen. It is simple 3rd grade math. I do not believe ANY promise by either candidate that taxes will be cut.<

I don't believe taxes will be cut either....I don't think they need to be.

Why should "the rich" pay 80% of the taxes? That's insane.

Where did you get that figure?

Seriously, how would you feel if your tax dollars were spent to send children to a Muslim school? And of course there is the question about families who want to home school--should we also provide them with what would equate to a tax rebate?

Please don't say that...or people might accuse those poor kids of being a closet muslim......*sarcasm in jest... ;-)

I do not believe ANY promise by either candidate that taxes will be cut. I am a realist, and I hope that whoever does get elected makes realistic decisions.

Thank you thank

I think differences are very beneficial. I think the middle is the best ground on many things ultimately.
