A lot of time is invested in these Al Frankin support sites.

So do you agree with Prager that equality is not an American value?

Equality in what respect?

"In what respect, Charlie?"

This is America the land of oppurtunity work hard and you will do well.

I suppose theoretically it would be a good idea to agree upon a definition of "do well," but for the purposes of this debate, I'm going to assume you meant financially, primarily. Correct me if I'm wrong.

If not though, then your statement reads: "people who work hard will make a good deal of money." Does that mean that Joe the Plumber doesn't work hard? How about most waitstaff in non-high-end restaurants (to say nothing of the dishwashers, etc.)? Does the average cop work hard? How about the average garbage collector?

I could go on, but I think you get the point.

One should never direct people towards happiness, because happiness too is an idol of the market-place. One should direct them towards mutual affection. A beast gnawing at its prey can be happy too, but only human beings can feel affection for each other, and this is the highest achievement they can aspire to.

Exactly. Ignore the rules, make extra work for the teachers, and (potentially) pi$$ off other parents because they find out their children's school is allowing other parents to violate the rules.

Rather disgusting, IMO.
