Huh?

Huh? Followed by dead silence. That's a senior McCain advisor's reaction to Palin already saying she's going to run in 2012 if McCain loses. She has been called "a whack job", a "rogue" and a "diva" by people on the record in the McCain campaign at great cost to McCain. There is a reason. This disloyal statement by Palin proves it in case any of us had any doubt.

Palin alone is a very good reason not to vote for McCain/Palin. Having her the oldest heartbeat away from the Presidency of any incoming President is a scary thought.

Here is the clip: http://rawstory.com/news/2008/Palins_2012_talk_leaves_McCain_aide_1029.html

LOL! Only morons on the left could turn "I'm not leaving national politics if we lose" into a "disloyal" statement. Gee...if Obama and Biden lose, will they be "disloyal" if they don't quit politics?

Rather, I think should McCain/Palin win, they will be hard pressed to be the "mavericks" in office that they claim they will be.

Nothing that Palin does surprises me. She's an opportunist...I hope she devours McCain. He deserves it. lol.

>>> Rather, I think should McCain/Palin win, they will be hard pressed to be the "mavericks" in office that they claim they will be.

I don't. Both of their records are pretty clear...unlike Obama who doesn't have a record to speak of...except for being friends with radicals and promoting socialism.

>>> Their innuendo's and implying this or that, has divided a country in half.

Actually, it's Obama, the "uniter" who's divided the country by being untrustworthy...so much so that he's even split the Democrat party.

>>> Not to mention the chants for "USA" at rallies, saying people are more "American" here or there. (again, it is the implication of what they are spewing).

You'd prefer "We are citizens of the world!" like they chant at Obamessiah rallies? I'll take the good ol' USofA any day.

>>> It will be quite interesting to see what happens if they win.

Well, we won't be any closer to socialism, that's for sure, and we'll be a LOT safer as a nation.

>>> (being an obama supporter, I actually think McCain will win....they have toted the "be afraid of the muslim, terrorist, socialist, non american guy" very well.)

I hope so. The fact that Obama has SO many close relationships with extreme radicals, not to mention his socialist agenda, is quite unsettling.

>>> I have a bet going on with my best-guy friend who is a republican. He thinks Obama will win...if he is right, i have to buy him dinner. if I am right then he has to buy me dinner. We shall see...

I hope he takes you to a nice restaurant. ; )

>>> Oddly enough, I see much of what McCain says as just a means to win...(his so-called attacks on Obama or going "after him"). But Palin, somehow I believe every word she says.

I think McCain believes it too. It's tough to ignore the facts surrounding Obama's associations and policies...except for his blind supporters, that is. They seem quite content to dismiss reality.

>>> I can't wait for this campaign to be over. There is one thing the my friend and I agree on. There will be a huge open wound in this country if McCain wins (Obama Loses).

Based on the numbers, it would be a slightly smaller "open wound" than if Obama were to win.

>>> All things under the surface will burst.

Let's hope the Dems can control themselves and be good losers.

59% now say she has not shown herself ready to be President.

"A growing number of voters have concluded that Senator John McCain’s running mate, Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska, is not qualified to be vice president, weighing down the Republican ticket in the last days of the campaign, according to the latest New York Times/CBS News poll."

Your talking points are out of date, McCain himself said Obama's not a socialist on Larry King.

I relish the thought of Sarah Palin actually being a big player in the Republican party, their breaking is almost complete.

Reward Republicans for 8 years of failure? No way, No how, No McCain!

"I relish the thought of Sarah Palin actually being a big player in the Republican party, their breaking is almost complete."

Your sentiment is perfectly understandable in view of the enormous, borderline malicious physical and economic harm the Fox Republican officials and politicians (fops) like the Fox pundits and their pal Palin have inflicted on America and the world. And you are correct that the fops may crack the Republicans in two setting off a chain reaction that causes it to disintegrate.

I for one, however, believe in a two party system of government. The Democrats are not infallible. Restoring the Republican Party to decency and honest intellectual differences rather than a party that stands for incompetence, hypocrisy, greed and pandering would, in my view at least, benefit America far more than seeing it smash itself to bits, as may be about to occur. It is better than not that McCain destroy the Republicans and thereby end his chances to destroy America. I still very much hope the Republicans survive. If they do, it will take a decade for them to wake up to what they have done before they can start to fix it - some of them who are old will have to retire or fall by the wayside, like Murdoch and Cheney. Rove will have to be held accountable.

>>> 59% now say she has not shown herself ready to be President.

Really? A NYTimes poll?

As of press time, more than 400,000 people had voted in AFA's poll, with statistics showing roughly five percent believe Obama is qualified to be America's president, 95 percent do not believe he is qualified, and less than one percent are unsure.
http://www.onenewsnow.com/Election2008/Default.aspx?id=288052

ThisThe Washington Post/ABC poll found 45% of voters still don't think he's qualified to be president, about the same number who doubted his qualifications in March.
http://online.wsj.com/article/SB122411909182439021.html

Independents are twice as likely to say McCain is "very qualified" to be president: 50 percent think McCain is "very qualified" compared to 24 percent for Obama.
