A co-worker indicated that her husband is a police officer and was assigned to some security detail when Obama was here.

That account is very comparable to what I heard, and I live here in Michigan, just outside Detroit.

Thanks for the post!

How often to you see McCain around police officers or firemen in uniform? How often did you see Romney, or Huckabee, or Clinton, or Edwards photographed with cops around?

I have a friend who knows Cindy's dogsitter's daughter's husband, who said that McCain did not want any people of a certain ethnic group around him when he's addressing a crowd. Could this be true? Is that why his rallies are so milky white?

This is totally absurd! Any excuse to hide the real reason some people cannot bring themselves to vote for the most qualified candidate.

They're just making it up as they go, I think.

So, you believe that Obama is the "most qualified candidate."

Loved the reliable source you quoted! It's almost as good as Spongebob.

McCain showed himself as unqualified when he picked Palin - who considers foreign policy experience as being able to see Russia

It's what he HASN'T done that makes Obama the best candidate:

http://www.thecarpetbaggerreport.com/archives/9111.html

And that doesn't include the stuff in the past couple of years.

Obama has stuck to the same theme throughout his campaign, and throughout his adult life. He will work to change things so that we are a UNITED States of America in which EVERYONE has a chance at success. He has the intelligence and the humility to do the right thing and to know when he needs to rely on his advisers.

To sum up my feelings, i guess you could say he's shown us he can change Washington without letting Washington change HIM, as McCain has done.

If the selection of a VP is a deciding factor of qualification for the Presidency then BO has failed as well. So now what do we do?

Quoted from the original post on this thread. How reliable is THAT source?

I admit my source is a fictional character--I was trying to point out how ridiculous the OP was. I think your radar is defective--it only detects liberal posters' lack of credibility, not right-wingers'. Or do you set it that way?
