Not impressed in the slightest, which is why (among other reasons) I'm not voting for him.

If there was some sort of guarantee that she would only remain VP, that might be different.

What women's rights does she advocate?

We've heard nothing from her about family leave. Nothing about pay equity. Her definition of emergency contraception as an abortifacant belies her support of contraception. And Palin's statements to the press have shown that she supports abstinence only education, which is BTW what is taught in Alaska.

On health care reform, she supports a free market system that has currently left many uninsured. This is a feminist issue in part because women use health care more than men. (maybe that's why we live longer?)

>What would you say to Ms. Marsh if she showed up at your doorstep demanding that you kick in for the day care of your neighbor's kids?<

On this issue, considering the state of many schools in this nation, I already DO pay for subsidized day care for most of our youth. It's called a public education. Yet I'm happy to pay to educate our nation's youth. Why do you think that families who need it shouldn't get assistance with daycare?

"And Palin's statements to the press have shown that she supports abstinence only education, which is BTW what is taught in Alaska."

This is patently false. My children have had sex ed in Alaska (one this year in fact) and learned about birth control.

Palin is not my idea of a "feminist" by any stretch of the imagination.
