Well what other explanation would you say it is? It is definitely a shot at Obama to portray him as some terrorist, which he is not.

I would be afraid to ask you what you think of muslim people, but I am afraid I already know that answer.

So now that you've found photos that please you, you can feel free to post them. I can do the same. Ain't the USA grand? Though I wouldn't bet everyone will have the interpretation you do.

I won't ask what message you're trying to convey, I know that already.

Not really the place for a discussion of Islam, there are Religion forums to do that.

I seem to recall President Bush visiting a few mosques.

ROFL!

No, I’m sure the same folks who think the Dick Cheney endorsement of McCain was a wonderful thing will see McCain's BFF-hug of Bush and think: "thank GOD we've got someone in here who'll continue along the same trajectory that I love so much!"

I'm OK with that, really. ;o)

So why are you so concerned about what everyone else thinks?

Yeah, it kinda makes you wonder, doesn't it, whether being a community organizer, as opposed to spending decades in Congress,

According to a couple of military boards I have been reading, BO would find it very difficult to get a security clearance for a position in military intelligence. His admitted drug use, his associations with people like Ayers and just general tendency to find himself involved with people of questionable repute. Attending a church whose pastor is a racist and just magically finding out about it after 20 years? Just happens be involved in real estate dealing with a convicted felon? Has an illegal immigrant for a relative and, like Wright, he "didn't know"? The military is unlikely to accept such an applicant into their own intelligence field. Yet he can be President.
