Since when is Bill Richardson on the ticket? I have heard Obama consistently say his tax plan, it's not that complicated. Over $250,000 taxes go up to what they were under the Clinton administration. Between $200,000 and $249,999 taxes stay the same. Everyone under 200,000 gets a tax cut. Sorry saying those that make $120,000 are middle class and will get a tax cut does not equal lowering the bar.

This is nonsense. Bill Richardson, while a prominent Democrat, is not one of Barack Obama's insiders. He is somewhat of an advisor to the campaign, but even if he were a confidant, the bottom line is that he isn't Obama himself. People - as we've already determined from the opinions expressed on this board - have very different ideas about what makes a person "middle class," or what range of income/outlook fits within that definition. Richardson can say what he likes, but to treat it as if that's somehow Obama's policy position is just nonsense. You can go right now to Obama's web site and read what he has to say on taxes; it's quite clear on this point. And treating a one-off comment by Bill Richardson as if it's a formal change in plans or policy is simply ridiculous.
