Great video! The Republicans don't care if some go without health care, as long as the insurance companies and the rich guys who fill their pockets are happy, they see nothing wrong with the status quo.

With all the layoffs this year people will see how unaffordable insurance really is. Does anyone actually purchase COBRA insurance after losing a job? It's totally unaffordable, esp. for someone who's living on unemployment compensation.

Most all seniors are covered under Medicare.

I also kept my Cobra, but only for myself. I had just had back surgery, and I knew I would be needing more doctor visits and physical therapy. It's terribly expensive, and without having had

Medicare only covers 80% of hospital bills. My back surgery and hospitalization bill, came to over $60,000. Leaving 20% for me. $12,000 is no small amount, and that was just the beginning! Medication costs are through the roof, and they won't allow negotiations with the pharma companies. Yet they complain about how expensive the program is!

80/20 is typical with any type of insurance I thought?

80/20 is typical for perhaps diagnostic tests, therapy and other ancillaries. Most insurance plans offer 100% coverage for hospital stays, sometimes subject to annual or lifetime maximums.
