I wasn't in the 55% who watched it on television since I had class that night. But I did watch it on YouTube later - I don't know how many people have watched it on YouTube but there are literally dozens of Obama infomercial videos on YouTube now so I guess a lot of people are still watching it. I hope that is a good thing. To be honest, even if he were a solid 15 points ahead right now I would still not believe he is going to win. The last two presidential elections have taken away my confidence in polls. I really hope he wins, and I am doing the best I can to help that happen in my little corner of the world. But I have become a bit of a cynic about presidential elections and think that at the last minute people will vote for McCain. I really dread getting up on November 5th and turning the news on while I get ready for school.
If you don't really care then why did you open a discussion on this particular topic? Seems a strange way of showing lack of interest. "Methinks the lady doth protest too much!"
Well, going by YOUR title - did you intend to say 45% skipped it? Because the logical implication of 45% skipping means that 55% didn't skip it - so did you mean what you posted? Because I was responding to what YOU posted. I did the math according to melanie230.

Well not really.
No...you should read the link.
No wrong.
Thirty-one percent (31%) of voters watched the entire ad, eight percent (8%) most of it, and 15% some of it.
If you had read the link you would know better.
I read it, and thought about this site.
I doubt they had to watch the whole thing, and I doubt Obama's campaign expected them to watch the whole thing.
Still rather remarkable numbers.
I wonder what this campaign would look like if Christine Whitman were the Republican nominee.
