Somehow, in Sarah Palin's brain, it's a threat to the First Amendment when newspapers criticize her negative attacks on Barack Obama.

This sounds like typical "Free speech for me, but not for thee" drivel.
It sounds like she wants to be able to say any darn thing she pleases, but not one else has freedom of speech to disagree, or challenge what she says.
>>> I truly cannot fathom your logic sometimes.
I know...but you're a liberal. ; )
>>> Let's see. Barack Obama has a degree in Politcal Science from Columbia University - with a major in International Relations. He taught United States Constitutional Law at the University of Chicago for 12 years. Please explain how those experiences could have left him 'poorly educated' and 'unknowledgable' about the institutions and government of the United States?
Here...take a listen...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iivL4c_3pck
In this single interview, you'll hear a "Constitutional lawyer" who doesn't have a clue about the Constitution, and a guy with a degree in Political Science who doesn't understand the function of the US courts. Doesn't sound like a genius when it comes to "institutions and government of the United States." And then we could journey back to his comments on "meeting our enemies with no preconditions" and his responses to the Russian invasion of Georgia...Barry's immediate response was to stupidly blame both parties, suggesting they hold hands and sing kumbaya...and then, in another stellar move, he suggested that a UN resolution be sought so that Russia could condemn itself to the UN. I guess Barry was wasted on coke and pot during those "international relations" classes.
>>> I can understand how some people don't like or trust Obama or his motives and policies, but this kind of argument about his 'education' and 'knowledge' is just plain silly - IMHO.
Not really...if you examine his words and comments, it's pretty obvious that Barry hasn't got a clue. But I'm sure he'd make a really, really find community organizer.
I heard Obama speak about the Constitution and didn't find anything wrong with anything he said.
((((It sounds like she wants to be able to say any darn thing she pleases, but not one else has freedom of speech to disagree, or challenge what she says.)))))
You are right. It does sound like that. Palin and those 'darned' equal rights. She wants them to be reserved only for 'pro-Americans' like the secessionists that she 'palls around with'. lol.
>>> I heard Obama speak about the Constitution and didn't find anything wrong with anything he said. It appears that he has an excellent grasp of the Constitution and the law regarding the Constitution.
Yeah, but you believed him when he said "hope and change" too. ; ) In my opinion, someone who has a fundamental view that the Constitution is "flawed" and that our founders, and the country, have had a perpetual "blindspot" isn't someone who I could credit with an "excellent grasp of the Constitution."

>>> Regarding Russia and Georgia, wasn't it Georgia that started the whole thing with aggression in South Ossetia and then wanting the U.S. and NATO to jump in when Russia became aggressive back? If that is the case, then they were both at fault and Obama was correct.
You are mistaken and Obama was wrong. His first comments were incredibly weak and he followed them up with fundamental ignorance of the UNSC.
>>> So, based on Palin's actions and statements, she IS "horribly poorly educated and almost wilfully unknowledgable about the institutions and government she supposedly wants to represent, whether you want to believe it or "feel" it or know it or not.
Well, you're wrong...again, LOL!...but no big surprise there. Palin's been a very effective, reforming governor with very high approval ratings. Barry, of course, has been utterly undistinguished in every position he's ever held.
>>> Those are the facts. How you "feel" about Obama does not change the reality that Obama IS well educated, and understands how gov't works even better than McCain.
And yet there's Obama's demonstrations of complete ignorance to contend with. LOL!
(((((Palin's been a very effective, reforming governor with very high approval ratings. )))))
Just a touch of the article, but quite revealing, huh?
(((((sampling)))))
Even in Alaska, Palin's popularity is taking a tumble
