I have not heard if Palin's is going to release her medical records. She is the youngest, and so why all of the hub bub? Conspiracy Theory: Trig is Bristols? The blogs stated it first.

To be honest, I never understood the fascination and demands on medical records, and personally wish that this call for records by any candidate be brought to an end.

It's disgusting how people in the US feel they have the RIGHT to know the entire medical history of a candidate, and then

Sure you can...listen to Palin's rallies as she lies about Obama. That's hateful, and 'also, too', search "Obama" and look at the lies and nastiness posted about him. Why should Palin get a free pass and not release her records? Exactly, she should not.

Obama did release more than a letter from his doctor, but he didn't release all his medical records:

The two other nominees are younger and apparently in good health, but less is known about their medical history. Senator Barack Obama of Illinois, 47, the Democratic presidential nominee, released a one-page, undated letter from his personal physician in May stating that he was in “excellent” health. Late last week, his campaign released the results of standard laboratory tests and electrocardiograms from his checkups in June 2001, November 2004 and January 2007. The findings were normal. >>>

Hey, I know...we could have her phony up a few paragraphs of general BS, hide all the pertinent facts and then hide the doctor who allegedly wrote the BS. Great plan! LOL!

OK, I missed that last week.

Honestly Sopal, why in the world should the results of his check-ups from 2001/2004/2007 (let alone detailed PRIVATE medical information) be released to the world??

The playing field should be level.

I totally agree, and IMO a report on their current physical condition should suffice. I also think separate from their own physician, there should be a (second opinion) check-up done by an independent physician.
