ZOGBY SATURDAY: Republican John McCain has pulled back within the margin of error… McCain outpolled Obama 48% to 47% in Friday, one day, polling. He is beginning to cut into Obama’s lead among independents, is now leading among blue collar voters, has strengthened his lead among investors and among men, and is walloping Obama among NASCAR voters. Joe the Plumber may get his license after all…

>>> See and here I thought you and I would never agree on anything. You are SOOOO right, people who think dont' buy an empty suit with an empty slogan -- which is why we are voting for the next President of the United States, Barack Obama.

Who is, unfortunately, and empty suit with an empty slogan. I wish Obama was more, but sadly, he isn't.

>>> Someone wins and we're doomed? I remember that kind of talk right before the 1980 election.

I don't. I'm sure there was partisan haggling, but've never been in a situation with this kind of economic strife, coupled with international dangers, and an inexperienced candidate with a socialist agenda poised to push us over the brink.

>>> Bush was already elected and we're already in a world of hurt. Hmmm, try something different or keep going with the same things that got us here. That's really the choice this country has to make, as clear as it's even been since 1980.

They've tried socialism...didn't work.

Who's tried socialism? I've never heard the 1990's referred to as socialism in this country.

Wow, now Clinton and the Republicans were socialist too, dang!

================================

Reward Republicans for 8 years of failure? No way, No how, No McCain!

Neither have I.

>>> Wow, now Clinton and the Republicans were socialist too, dang!

Not a conclusion I would have come to...but then I'm not trying to apologize for Obama.

Failure? 7 years of a growing economy in the face of devastating circumstances...unemployment and inflation at near record lows...no terrorist attacks...a severely damaged Al Qaeda...etc Go Bush! Go McCain!
