I wanted to run an ad for McCain during PrimeTime, but I couldn't afford it.

Did you complain when Bush43 did it? I didn't think so. lol. That's how a campaign is run...well anyway. McCain can't even run an efficient campaign. How is he supposed to run a gov't that needs so much regulation, which he opposes, and creative ideas, which McCain does not have? Exactly. McCain - can not!

Infomercial = advertising
one of the purposes of fundraising. Plus most of Obama's supporters actually enjoyed the infomercial.

Clothing = ???
Not one of the allowable expenses with party money

I don't really care how the gop spends their money as I did not donate to their campaign. I do care how McCain spends the federal funds he received because I did donate to that. Based on how he chose to spend it I will not donate anymore of my tax refund to that fund. Problem solved for me.

Funny I think the left dropped that issue long before the right did - wonder why?

(((I am pointing out the hypocrisy of the left when they whine about Palin's wardrobe, that wasn't hers to begin with.))))

Again, I question the McCain campaign's integrity.

Yes buying clothes is indeed an expense that is allowed when using campaign funds.

The RNC is allowed to spend up to $19 million in "coordinated expenses" with the campaign. In September, it spent a a total of $4.4 million. The clothing and styling was part of that, but most was spent on postage for campaign mailings.

As for the dropping of this issue.

Hey I only responded to your bringing it up - heavens the RNC clothing was much better than the clothing I saw her wearing in the grocery store in Alaska.

I am so grateful we didn't see that outfit on the campaign trail!

Here we go, sniping about wardrobes and campaign ads....

Did no one have a reaction to the fact that Gov. Palin referred to the strategy on the wars in Iraq and Iran??

Did we declare war on Iran?
