OK, if obama does get elected, and he does do a better job than I expect and holds up to his promises, I will be the first to admit I was wrong BUT if he ends up doing a horrible job and his promises start to fade away with the lack of change, how many of you are willing to stand up and admit you were wrong?

"BUT if he ends up doing a horrible job and his promises start to fade away with the lack of change, how many of you are willing to stand up and admit you were wrong?"

What are you talking about? Of course I will.

And will you? About Bush and Cheney? But I guess you'd say that most recent huge wrong choice was just an aberration and you're really right this time.

Um - I could be wrong about this, but in the general scheme of things. I’m not sure that whether or not someone on an internet message board "admits s/he was wrong" about Obama or McCain matters.

I am pretty sure those that are familiar with me on this board know how I would handle such a scenario, no need to say it.

I'm not coming back here after this election, but I would admit it.

eh? it was my prediction last night that obama was going to win, even if it is against what i wish. and the post was *as stated* if he does win and he does a great job, i will be the first to admit i was wrong for my vote, but if he doesn't do a good job will those that voted be willing to admit the same *albeit the opposite?* what does mccain have to do with it?

i will support him as long as he delivers what is promised, and my lifestyle improves or at the very least, remains the same. if we revisit the carter administration, then my life will change negatively, and i have a hard time supporting that. my life has improved immensely under bush, even with the poor current economy, and i would like to maintain or improve that life, kwim?
