I thought it might be fun for those of us who vote today to report in as they do.

My DH and I went at about 10:30 this morning... we took baby Kenny with us.

I voted last week - wait was about 25 min then - brought all 4 kids to watch the process. The older 2 are pretty interested and begging to stay up as late as needed tonight!

Drove by 2 polls this morning and they both seemed pretty light - judging by the parking lots anyway...

Exciting day!

Same with me and my son and DH, no problem at all. Took us a total of 10 minutes. I was supprised though, they had 5 voting machines for such a small town.

I avoided the traffic lines by scooting around the highway and taking back roads to the high school (it helps to have grown up in this town.) I got in and out, no lines.

I inquired on voting, and it was heavy. State turnout is predicted to be over 80%.

Yeah, for what it's worth I voted.

I live in a Chicago suburb - I left work early fearing long lines based on what I was hearing from others at work.
