This country is going to go to sh#t if Obama wins.

The change is that you are no longer going to have change in your purse.

Well, Republicans were in charge of all 3 branches of government from 2000-2006 and 2 branches since 2006. The country is in terrible shape. I guess most Americans believe that Democrats s#ck less than Republicans. But thanks for the kind and gracious words.

Too late...we are already socialistic and you didn't even realize it.

I don't want to argue either - and for me to explain why I like Obama would simply be an open for an debate here, which I'm not interested in.

Your cursing is unbecoming and a clear violation of board rules. You are upset that you are losing. And this is no way to behave. It's time for Republicans to start living up to the moral high ground they have claimed for so long to occupy.

I could write a few things myself, but this article does a pretty good job of summing it up for me. Obama is a transformative figure -- like Lincoln, FDR, Kennedy, Reagan. We need more than good policies, we need a person with tremendous charisma who can unite and lead us all. McCain is a good person, a hero, and a decent politician, but he is not a transformative leader who can energize the populace.

Tootired99 - just want to assure you that I don't think you hate Obama - it's just some posters here on this forum that seem like that - certainly not all.

I just think we need to get beyond hate because it's the other guy's opinion and more to the point of understanding it.

hillary1123, please calm down a little. I know it's hard but try to think on the other side: if Obama does win, it is because the majority of us (your peers) think it is for the best. Do you think that he's sitting there saying to himself "oh, yeah, when I get in I'm turning the USA into @%*$!!" No, he wants to help, not hurt, this country.
