This concession speech reminded me of the man I so very much admired in 2000.

You are a truly honorable man.

If John McCain had been the same man he was in 2000, he might have won this election.

I agree. I thought his speech was wonderful. I wish all of his supporters were as gracious.I hope Obama doesn't take his popular mandate for granted and listens to the moderates on the other side of the aisle.

I agree that he looked like the man I admired in 2000. Would that he were elected then maybe we wouldn't be in such a deep hole today.

I also as I have said many times admire McCain's service to our country. He put it all and then some on the line for us. He went above and beyond in telling his captures where to stick it when they offered to let him cut the line to go free while others before him would remain imprisoned.

McCain may be able to guide his party back to reality. I hope they will listen to him rather than the Palin types.

He is McCain...a man of integrity and honor...and a stark contrast to Obama.

PS McCain's best line: "“We fought as hard as we could, and though we fell short, the failure is mine, not yours,” "

That is accountability. The Republicans should learn from this guy.

Maybe if he would have run his campaign the way he did in 2000 he would have been more successful.
