McCain should have stuck by his own principals rather than pandering to the base of the GOP. Sarah Palin as running mate? Ick! In that sense, he was not honorable.

Funny thing. Had he been honorable all along, his political destiny might well have been different. People were looking for a change from the failed policies of BushCo and McCain never made a clean break.
