We've got to come together as a nation. This election should not be about accepting black people only to reject the rights of gay people. We've also got to fix how money infects politics so a narrow rich group of people can manipulate public opinion.
We've seen what we can do when we fight. Don't give up the hope. Many of us will fight for you until this is done and America has stopped splintering itself based on prejudice and divisive politics, and then some.

It can't be. It's a state constitutional amendment. As long as it doesn't violate a federal law (and it doesn't), it will stand.
It is indeed a very sad day, and one our country and California will regret, I'm sure. We should not give up. Time will show that marriage equality is far from the threat that it has been made out to be. Here's hoping that time comes soon.
I feel most sad for the couples who are currently married in California. This is the second time their marriages have been declared invalid. That takes a huge toll on a person's esteem. Let's keep them all in our thoughts.

It's sad that some people mistake "equal rights" as "gay rights".
And just how will letting gays and lesbians marry, ruin my marriage or anyone elses?

A few weeks ago I did a church service with one of the attorneys for the Equality California.
