Obama won on his own terms, strategically and symbolically. He rolled up a series of contested states, from Colorado to Virginia, long out of Democratic reach. And his victory reflected the accuracy of his vision of a reshaped country. Racism, much discussed, turned out to be a footnote, and the African-American voter turnout was nothing spectacular.

No this nation will not come together and the radical Muslim thing has little to do with it.

When everyone panics like you did and removes their money, that is one of the reasons it will go really bad.
If this nation has a hard time coming together, you can bet the fact that a large number of people who think we've elected a radical black Muslim will have a lot to do with it.

I am neither young nor black, and neither are my friends, most (but not all) who supported Obama.
I don't think any Obama supporters will be joining the Obama haters in throwing him to the wolves.

That IS puzzling.
I wish we could just hit the "off" switch on some of the doomsayers here, ya know? The constant noise coming from some of them is as annoying as the nonstop din coming from video games my kids used to play.
