The fact you didn't find the joke amusing does not change the fact the reporter was kidding.

He said he will only tax big corporations, and give small businesses a tax break! And if small business create jobs here at home, they will get a tax break.

What makes you think that we would be better off by doing what we have been doing so far? (Giving big oil companies tax cuts, and other big corporations?) Look where that got us!

Please provide documentation of this. I have looked and can't find it anywhere.

I think you are confused. There is no "requirement" to report any kind of crime, including voter fraud. You don't have to be a first party witness to tell the authorities what you know. Now, certain evidence might not be admissable in court based on how it was obtained, but that has nothing to do with reporting information to the authorities.

Furthermore, the phone number and email address I provided came from sites that openly asked people if they had any information about any kind of voter fraud to please report it. They said nothing whatsoever about having to witness the fraud.

Further, furthermore, since we have secret ballots, it would be impossible to actually "witness" voter fraud -- all individual votes are cast in privacy.

We are, actually. There aren't different laws for *reporting* certain crimes and not others. Voter fraud does not have different reporting requirements from armed robbery or tax evasion.

"Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius -- and a lot of courage -- to move in the opposite direction." Alberrt Einstein

Human nature is to dig in deep in denial and suspician when feeling out of control. There can be no progress without someone actually TRYING to move beyond their long held position.

Wow - great use of deductive logic to figure out what candidate someone was voting for! LOL

I seem to remember another discussion about reporting people for crimes when we see them - someone who had a police officer for a spouse. I don't remember who it was, but they said you absolutely had to report if you thought a crime was occurring - didn't they? I will have to do a search for it. I think it was in the Obama's aunt thread. Anyhoo it seems since only one or two people agree that this video shows a crime don't you think it would be their responsibility to report it? Gosh I do so hope they live up to their responsibility - don't you??? LOL

Where did you get the idea that they needed IDs?

>>The final tally was 52% to 46%, 7,000,000 more popular votes, and to the rest of country is considered a "mandate" and very close to a landslide.<<

I've heard many pundits using the word mandate. As of now, I believe that Obama has 365 electoral votes which is more than 2x of McCain's 162. Not bad.
