Just a reminder that those who are so unhappy about Obama being elected President are free to leave the United States and go live someplace else.

>>Actually, this is a thread which didn’t really require any replies.

It was still posted on a public forum which means that it will get replies, especially if others have a different outlook on things. That's what public forums are for. I agree that there is a huge difference between being disappointed and truly angry 24/7, but it is still their right and if they want to be truly angry and miserable let them. It does get to me a bit too when people whine incessantly but aren't willing to do anything about it. But those people will find problems anywhere they are. Miserable people are just miserable people no matter where they live. I say leave them be and be glad you aren't one. :-)

>>> The POINT is that if someone is that disillusionaed and unhappy, they need to consider making WHATEVER arrangements, pack up and GO. GIT. Feel free to live a wonderful life someplace else in a country with a leader you approve of.

LOL! We're all assuming that you did the same when Bush was elected?

Most countries have immigration policies and procedures that would need to be respected.

Then my suggestion would be to respect those policies and procedures.

So, are you saying that you would have packed up and left the country if your candidate had not won? Or are you saying that you would not have felt anger or said anything at all in the form of a complaint?

I said nothing of the kind. What I am saying is what I have said.

I believe it is - regardless of which side it comes from!
