Just a reminder that those who are so unhappy about Obama being elected President are free to leave the United States and go live someplace else.

In the past couple of months, on this board, I've seen the same line directed at us liberals who were unhappy with the past 8 years of Republican rule.

If McCain had won, I doubt any of us liberals would have been as persistent in posting about our woes about the next four years as some of the GOPers here. When they go on, and on, and on with their whining it's easy to tune them out, kind of like the way we tuned out FOX with all their pre-election talk of nonsense associations rather than of the issues.

The main whiners are the same 4 people, or, as some suspect, 2/3 people with different member names.

Safe assertion to make since he didn't win so it can never be proven one way or the other. Seriously, both sides of it complain and whine when things don't go their way. Nothing new about that or the fact that whoever wins an election will smugly state that the other side is just a bunch of whiners for voicing any opinion that isn't part of the majority. Happens every four years regardless of who wins.

ITA! Nicely said! We all need each other. Our differences mirror the checks and balances in place in our gov't, too. I think in the past 8 years we went 'way too far in one direction and now, it's time for the pendulum to swing the other way for a change. :) Maybe we'll find a way to balance things instead of going to either extreme... I can hope, anyway! ;)
