Exactly right...

While much attention has been given to the growing trend of U.S. citizens seeking health care in other countries, other evidence points out that the largest segment of medical travelers are headed stateside.

Suemox has effectively shot down your 'articles', and you well know for every one of those, she can toss on here nightmares in our own system.

You claimed that the cost of Canadian health care was excessive. I showed you ours is more.

You claimed that it was a high percentage of Canadian GDP. I showed you ours is more.

I mentioned that alternatives exist, yet you keep thinking what we have or government, nothing else.

We need to think outside the box. And we are the ones who decide, if only we start actually thinking.

And finally, on uninsured, rest assured we try to recover this health care you attempt to show as rendered for free. There are no breaks.

<<We need to think outside the box. >>

That's all I'm trying to achieve here. I'd also be the first to say that Canadians must also think outside the box in order to address some of the issues that we are having too. Thinking outside the box....GOOD....Stubbornly (and deliberately)

I have tried for years to get people to think on the issue from outside of what it always seems to gravitate towards: our system vs a facsimile of yours.

Surely we can think of other ways; surely we can find many ways, and then evaluate, then distill them down to what seems the best solution. We should take this approach on so many things... but we are trapped in our own boxes, refusing to see beyond them.
