I'm sorry you find idle gossip/rumor type stuff informational and important, thankfully some of us on the 'right side' of the aisle didn't fall for it in regards to Obama.
I don't think it is gossip/rumor. We heard from her own mouth that she didn't know what the VP does--even worse, she believed the VP had more power than he/she actually does. Every time she spoke, it was obvious how unknowledgeable she was and what a shallow grasp she had on the issues.
>>>it goes both ways. they all 4 made their fair share of gaffes.
Perhaps. But none of the other 3 showed such a woeful lack of knowledge. A gaffe is one thing. Being asked about Supreme Court decisions and what newspapers you read, and not being able to answer ... That's quite another thing. This woman is not qualified to be a school teacher, much less V.P., or God forbid, President.

“If, by a ‘liberal,’ they mean someone who looks ahead and not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people – their health, their housing, their schools, their jobs, their civil rights, and their civil liberties – someone who believes we can break through the stalemate and suspicions that grip us in our policies abroad, if that is what they mean by a ‘liberal,’ then I’m proud to say I’m a ‘liberal.’”
I'll stop beating up on Palin when she announces that her political career is over - which, in spite of what many in the far right are hoping, it may well be.
I'm so tired of the vapid, the vacuous, the unprepared, the ill-informed, the ignorant, and the incompetent who seek (and sometimes gain) high political office.
