Care to take a challenge? PROVE to me they weren't LIES or distortions? Obviously, we who voted for Obama know just how much we were lied to by the Republicans, so do you honestly think we'd believe anything they said?

"Some of the Obama supporters believe that the things said about Obama were lies. They weren't. "

The book by Corsi has been totally discredited as chock full of lies. That is a fact melanie230. You are entitled to your pov about Obama. You are not entitled to your own facts.

Here is a comprehensive rebuttal which shows the book is just the next Swiftboat job it appears to be.

PS You are quite certain about Obama being a horrible ultra left wing liberal who will damage America. I really don't know on what you base your pov. So far he has been quite moderate. And the last Republican Administration you supported in fact was by all credible accounts and popular opinion just the same horrible extremist bunch that you make the Obama folks out to be. I am sorry to have to say this, but your leap to conclusions about Obama before he has even taken office coupled with your support of the prior horrible extremist Administration is damaging to your credibility.

For the record..I didn't comment on the book. I havent read it nor will I. But FITTHESMEARS isn't exactly impartial now is it?

--You didn't look at the material at all, did you? If you had you would have noticed that it was Obama's campaign that put it together. (You'll probably respond that they are not allowed to present the facts to defend themselves against blatant disgrace smearjob lies). Oh well, so much for considered opinions.

<>

His voting record.

--Actually, Obama voted for the Republican garbage FISA bill this Summer which once again lets our Republican friends and telecom companies off the hook for all the secret spying they perpetrated. Maybe in your ultra-right wing world that is too liberal. Obama is considering about postponing raising taxes on the super-wealthy. Again, maybe that's too liberal for you - maybe you think the super-rich shouldn't pay taxes and society should just kiss their feet for breathing the same air as us.

<<< So far he has been quite moderate.>>

Yes...it was very moderate to chose Rahm Emanuel he is as moderate as they get. ;O)>

--You don't like one of his appointments. Big deal. Speaking of appointments, why don't we, Obama is open to appointing more Republicans than any Republican since Lincoln has been to appointing Democrats. Look at the endorsements Obama has received already - there are plenty of folks from the opposite side of the aisle like Powell. Again, maybe Powell is just another dreaded liberal in your ultra-right wing world. Gates and Hagel are on the list being considered in Obama's administration. I am sure you hate Hagel because he is one of the few non-fop Republicans who calls it like it is.

<< And the last Republican Administration you supported in fact was by all credible accounts and popular opinion just the same horrible extremist bunch that you make the Obama folks out to be. I am sorry to have to say this, but your leap to conclusions about Obama before he has even taken office coupled with your support of the prior horrible extremist Administration is damaging to your credibility.>>

May I ask you why you are making assumptions about me? Can you tell me where I have said anything about supporting the President? Let me clear this up for you. I do believe that Bush has been bashed for some things that he shouldn't have been bashed for. I also don't believe that he is as bad as the left wishes he was. I also respect the fact that he didn't jump ship like all the democrats did when they supported him after 9/11. I love Monday morning quarterbacking. It shows the true colors of some. Do I think Bush has done all wonderful things? No. But 20% growth is not horrible. But then again this isn't about Bush. This is about Obama. Deflecting back to Bush only shows that you have no argument for Obama.

--I'm not making assumptions. In this very post you are defending Bush! You don't think he was a bad President. Whenever we call it like it is - he is a terrible President - you are up in arms sounding just like Fox defending Bush and attacking dreaded liberals for speaking the truth. I am really tired of Bush apologists who want it both ways. Bush was a trainwreck of a President. Incompetent. Corrupt. Dumb. Petty. Definitely bottom five, maybe even bottom three or possibly the Big Cahuna of worst American Presidents himself.

I hope your party starts recognizing reality again. If the Fox-Republican leaders keep on like this, the whole party is going to disintegrate.

Sarah got hammered by the left on the way in, and hammered by the right on the way out.

The person who needs to speak on this is the person who would have been president had the ticket won. McCain needs to stand up and tell the anonymous voices in his capaign to shut up or go on the record with their names. He also needs to condemn their comments and publicly thank Sarah for joining his campaign, and to call out those who say this stuff as malcontents unable to find dignity and grace in the face of defeat.

Having watched Romney during his failed campaign in Massachusetts, as well as his stint as governor, the last person I wished elected was he. I could stomach McCain a whole lot more than Romney, who makes John Kerry as flip flopper look like an amateur.
