>>> So do a lot of people, some say things that don't amount to a hill of beans.

Sounds like you heard Barry's news conference too.

Wow, I'm so glad to see that the democrats on this board are going to be full of it and think so highly of themselves to have to go spell check and point out every spelling mistake from us redneck Republicans. At least that is how I am feeling with the posts on this (that the democrats think they are above the Republicans) I guess now that obama is elected, there is nothing interesting to talk about or rip people apart for so now let's pick on them for other things. A leopard doesn't change it's spots, just changes their wording, instead of picking on people for their point of views (boring now that the dems are *right*) we have to see what their spelling errors are. I guess I had the democratic party wrong, I thought they were portrayed by their party to be a smart, intelligent, peace loving, people loving party. I'm waiting to see it.

Ahh, one reason I am so glad to be a redneck Republican, I know how to cook with relying on very little from the grocery store. At least I can thank my dad for teaching us how to live without relying on anyone but ourselves. I might have to buy flour, oil, yeast, milk and rice at the store but other than that, I can grow it and dh is really good at fishing, my dad is really good at hunting, we always have meat, fruit and veggies in the freezer or canned. We already have plans for our family. We own a bit of acreage out in the midwest, we're going to build our family homestead with my parents, cousins, a couple friends, we got hunters, fishermen and really good gardeners, and we'll take care of each other. Ok so we joke about it, but I tell you, it is really sounding better and better every day to not have to rely on anyone or anything to take care of us outside of our family. It would also help keep my parents out of the nursing home when they get really old. The Druids and Egyptians used to live like this. Between all of us, we will be able to pay cash for this building (a mutual area-kitchen and living with branches off of it for bedroom suites for everyone) don't have to worry about payments, put windmills up for electricity, and live off the land and just pay our taxes, sounding better and better the more I type! :)

The people who anger me the most is the ones who took their Golden Parachuttes and ran. Believe me or not, I have nothing against people who became wealthy by hard work alone, but I detest the people who became wealthy by taking advantage of other people, by cheating them out of their life savings. Those types. the ENRON types, etc.

Fine, make fun of him, Bush has done his share of um's and plenty of ridiculous gaffes! Bush has and always will be a sappy cowboy frat boy.
