Rips Nancy Regan, real nice.

Doesn't answer tax question.

A dog question, tough question.

Both my parents grew up on farms during the depression and there were a lot more family farms back then. Even properties in the city had a little more land on which to have a vegetable plot.

My grandmother made her own butter from the milk cows they had (and sold some of it), canned her own preserves (from the berries they picked) made all the bread and put up stores for the winter. She also made and sold her own soap. Despite being poor, with no indoor plumbing (washing clothes on a scrubbing board), my mom and her siblings ate well and healthily throught the depression (and second world war).

<<Ahh, one reason I am so glad to be a redneck Republican, I know how to cook with relying on very little from the grocery store. >>

HUH? I didn't realize that these skills were partisan.

I'd like to challenge you to a pickle-making, wild berry jam-making, bread-baking, meat-preserving, garden bean blanching, tomato-canning, fish cleaning, and pie-baking contest any day of the week. Also we can compare home-made cleaning solutions and recycling tricks as well (like....did you know that the quart bags from milk can be slit open on top, cleaned and they make excellent sandwich and freezer bags?)

How quickly we forget. He makes Palin look articulate and knowledgeable by comparison. And that's saying a lot.

Those are not Fleur's words, those are the words of our Commander-in-Chief. You will have to call the White House if you want clarification! Just some of the many, many, many incoherent things our sitting president has said over the course of the last 8 years. Sad, but true. A bit ironic from the NCLB president don't you think?

MY Mom said that they only went to the store twice a year to get the same things (flour, sugar, salt etc...). My grandmother made dresses out of the flour bags and made rag rugs and quilts out of scrap material.

>>> I've only been here a couple of days, but hey, I get it. You don't like him. You will pick apart everything he does for the next 4 years. That should be fun. Don't you think that song and dance is going to get old?

Ask the Dems, they've been doing it for 8 years. LOL!

>>> Fine, make fun of him,

We will! We will!

>>> Bush has done his share of um's and plenty of ridiculous gaffes!

So has Barry...and he's just getting started! LOL!

>>> Bush has and always will be a sappy cowboy frat boy.

And Barry is just an over-reaching drug-addled community organizer.

>>> Remember, it's hard to put food on your family, and people and fish can co-exhist peacefully together.!

Almost as hard as it is to visit all 57 states. LOL! But GW's gaffes were harmless...Barry's stupidity will now affect the world.
