Republican 61% unfavorability rating

The fops (Fox-Republican officials and politicians) have driven up the disapproval rating for Republicans to 61%.

I hope the Republicans rid themselves of the fops.

For the good of the party and the good of America, I hope the Republicans get back to their pre-Nixon values of good, small, well-run, non-interventionist, pro-civil libertarian government.

They need to get back to the good old GOP - fiscally conservative, mildly

Only a 55% approval rating for the dopes (Democrat officials and politicians everywhere)? That's almost exactly the same percentage that voted for Obama. You'd think after winning an election that they'd score much higher...I wonder why they didn't?

Why call them dopes? Is that really needed? It seems like verbal insults are a line of defence for several Republicans on this board.

The OP referred to Republicans as "fops" so it seemed appropriate, when discussing the opposing party, to make the distinction between the two by referring to them as "dopes" (Democrat officials and politicians everywhere) so that there would be no confusion.

Still, I'm left wondering...if you find acronyms to be "verbal insults" and offensive, why didn't you chastise the OP? We're not being hypocritical, are we?

Actually, I thought FOPS was a political term. My error!
