If you mean Keyes, he was a sore loser. That other nitwit lawyer was a Hilliary supporter. Would I support it? I don't know. the whole thing is so preposterous.

I don't think they have much to stand on, but the Supreme Court has a 5/4 conservative majority, so maybe the conservatives on the court will bite.

I don't see how they can. There is absolutely no legal precedent for the Supreme Court to determine who is eligible to run for president and who isn't. There is also nothing in the constitution declaring this to be any sort of responsibility of the court, and for the strict constructionist, dead document wing of the court this will give them pause. After the flack they took in 2000 I would be really surprised if they were anxious to get burned again.

Most importantly, Hawaii has declared that they have a valid legal birth certificate for Obama. That should be enough for anyone, including a conservative Supreme Court. If they intervene they will open the door to any nut case, left or right, declaring non citizenship for anyone running and demanding and rejecting all kinds of proof. No one should have to shell out endless reams of documentation based on the demands of the lunatic fringe.

Didn't Alan Keyes run against Obama for his Senate seat and lose, 70% to 30%? That may explain his "interest" in this.

I also thought that Alan Keyes was strongly involved in trying to prove that Obama wasn't eligible to be president:

Who is it then? Who started this fiasco? I hope it all crashes down in their faces. I would like to know just what Obama did was illegal? What Bush has done has been illegal as far as I'm concerned. I truly have never had such disdane for the Republican party in my whole life. We have had to deal with Bush Republicans long enough. I wouldn't care if a Republican was EVER elected again.
