don't you know?
"I've seen plenty of non-answers from the right on here."
And? Are you saying that you agree with the concept of lowering one's self to the least common demoninator?
"Two qualifications - she hasn't hung out with prostitutes or been prosecuted for a felony. LOLOL "
Okayy, I got it. You not attempting serious debate or discussion. I'll remember that for the future. the LOL's in so many of your posts should have clued me in. Sorry I missed it.
Maybe someone else that thinks Caroline Kennedy is a good choice for NY's US Senator can tell me about her qualifications for the job and why she is a good choice.
Sorry if my LOL's are distasteful to you, frankly I could care less. However, I fail to see how Caroline Kennedy's qualifications pale in comparison to Sarah Palin's. She could have been one heartbeat from the presidency. People on the right were saying "what a breath of fresh air" Palin was. So, now all of a sudden when a neophyte Democrat is interested in a Senate seat, her qualifications are questioned.
I don't think she's a slouch by any means - I'd stack her credentials up against Vitter and Franken any day. Note how I mentioned a Democrat and Republican.....
Upon her return to America, Caroline studied at Harvard and Columbia earning an A. B. and a J. D. In the 1980s, she married Edward Schlossberg and gave birth to three children: Rose; Tatiana and Jack.
Using her skills as an attorney and author, she wrote six books including a legal textbook: In Our Defense: The Bill of Rights in Action as well as the bestsellers -- A Patriot's Handbook and Profiles in Courage for Our Time.
Caroline Kennedy's executive experience includes her service as CEO for the Office of Strategic Partnerships for the New York City Department of Education and her Presidency of the Kennedy Library Foundation. She serves on the boards of the Commission on Presidential Debates and the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund. Caroline serves as the Honorary Chair of the American Ballet Theatre, and she is a member of the Advisory Board of the Harvard Institute of Politics.
Working for a formidable variety of charities, Caroline Kennedy has commandeered fundraising drives that have yielded a quarter of a billion dollars for worthy causes - the primary beneficiaries being education, civil rights and the arts.
