Looks like Chrysler, which is privately owned by rich Republicans, is pulling all its right-wing strings in DC to get it a piece of that auto bailout $$$.

Defense contractors. Big oil. Big pharma. Same thing for the past 8 years in which this Republican Administration has spent trillions and pulled every regulatory string to help its buds without any regard for everyone else. This is what you are about. While the top of the party goes on its personal feeding frenzy with your taxpayer dollars, they whip you up with issues like anti-stem cell research, anti-gay marriage, anti-liberal this and and liberal that. If you are a Republican making under 200K a year, you are getting played. Big time.
PS I am still for the auto bailout, but not to help rich Republicans. Rather I am strongly for it to help America because the terrible fallout due to one of these companies going under right now. I point this out to help Republicans understand their party's motivations and what their party is truly about.

So you understand the Republican party better than the Republicans? That's pretty interesting because I understand the Democratic party better than the Democrats, too. Democrats seem to fall into one of four categories:
A) The Royalty: They push socialist ideas and try to fool the unwashed into believing that they are trying to help them, when in reality they are trying to make slaves of all of them and keep them down and voting for them so that they can get the handouts that the Royalty so "graciously" are willing to hand out. Their motivations are greed and more and more power.
B) The Yellow Dogs - These are the people of little education or intelligence who approach being a Democrat with the same fervor that they would approach their religion. A Democrat is something they were born to be, and they are completely brainwashed into believing that to vote for a Republican would be a sin against God.
C) Elites - These are people who have acquired great wealth without actually earning the money, so they feel some guilt and compassion for those less "lucky". (Actors, trust babies, etc.)
D) Academic Elite - Never have gotten out into the world to see how it really works and keep to their own social group who look down on the people who do not fit into their own limited world views.
You don't seem to have any respect for Republicans. You can see I find it difficult to respect Democrats, too.
Also, in spite of the Democratic rhetoric about helping labor, the auto bailout is designed to save wealthy Democrat shareholders of the big three auto stock. That's it.
A bankruptcy would enable the automakers to restructure and survive. That's it.
Be cautious of what you wish for, having experts Barney Frank, Dodd, and Pelosi running things could prove interesting.
I have never seen so much farmland put up for auction in the coming 2 weeks in my area
You will be disappointed if you expect the Dems to treat you better.
Guess we'll find out - Not many people other than those making over 250k were treated well for the last 8....
