Chrysler: Look at yourselves Republicans

Looks like Chrysler, which is privately owned by rich Republicans, is pulling all its right-wing strings in DC to get it a piece of that auto bailout $$$.

Defense contractors. Big oil. Big pharma. Same thing for the past 8 years in which this Republican Administration has spent trillions and pulled every regulatory string to help its buds without any regard for everyone else. This is what you are about. While the top of the party goes on its personal feeding frenzy with your taxpayer dollars, they whip you up with issues like anti-stem cell research, anti-gay marriage, anti-liberal this and and liberal that. If you are a Republican making under 200K a year, you are getting played. Big time.

PS I am still for the auto bailout, but not to help rich Republicans. Rather I am strongly for it to help America because the terrible fallout due to one of these companies going under right now. I point this out to help Republicans understand their party's motivations and what their party is truly about.

Is that an offer to buy mine? ;) congrats on paying it off. i expect to have my next house paid for in cash as we build, land is paid for already, well is in, road is cut, we've been pocketing as much as we can every month so that when he retires from the navy, we can sell the house we are in, if we have to sell it quick, will sell what we bought for, so i'll take a 100,000 loss from value now but it will be off our hands! i guess it's not really a loss if we sell for what we bought it for. plus on our last two houses between the two we made over 100,000 on sales plus the tax free money for housing from the military and then the addition of the write off for the mortgage, i won't consider it too much of a loss then. if we don't pay cash, my goal is to have the house paid for by the time i reach 45. but really, if you feel the need to have another mortgage, let me know!! *LOL* just kidding! i hate mortgage payments, but i hate rent payments more.

The link you provide is for homes, not farmland. They are handled different.

Follow me now, if someone sells 80 acres of land today at $6000 an acre that was originally purchased for $500 30 years ago, he will owe more in tax if Obama keeps to his promise of raising cap gain taxes to 35% from 15% today.

Homes are different.
