Chrysler: Look at yourselves Republicans

Looks like Chrysler, which is privately owned by rich Republicans, is pulling all its right-wing strings in DC to get it a piece of that auto bailout $$$.

Defense contractors. Big oil. Big pharma. Same thing for the past 8 years in which this Republican Administration has spent trillions and pulled every regulatory string to help its buds without any regard for everyone else. This is what you are about. While the top of the party goes on its personal feeding frenzy with your taxpayer dollars, they whip you up with issues like anti-stem cell research, anti-gay marriage, anti-liberal this and and liberal that. If you are a Republican making under 200K a year, you are getting played. Big time.

PS I am still for the auto bailout, but not to help rich Republicans. Rather I am strongly for it to help America because the terrible fallout due to one of these companies going under right now. I point this out to help Republicans understand their party's motivations and what their party is truly about.

*LMAO* well it was worth a try!! dh's retirement age is 39 from the military, not his real retirement like he's wishing!! trying to tell him that as long as i'm working he has to be too, but he's wanting to be a stay at home dad and substitute teach for the rest of his income. well i guess as long as he makes up for the $4 grand we lose when he gets out, i guess that's ok (if i'm not paying for daycare and he brings in money, whatever the equal loss is fine with me how he makes it!) but one more try, are you really sure you don't want to have another mortgage? *LOL* my property taxes are only $4500 a year for this house i'd sacrifice for $300,000, it's worth more than that!! ;) gosh i wish we kept our first house, i just looked it up on zillow, we got for 90,000 and it's worth 250,000 now. and it would be paid for, even if we rented it out. if only there was a time machine to go back....grrr!

It just is common sense that if you were thinking of selling in the next couple years that it would save money to sell before the end of this year and be taxed 15%. Or take a chance that Obama holds true to his promise to raise it to 38%.

These are the guys I talked to, feel free to ask them.

Land didn't increase in value during the Clinton years as much as the last few.

I'm just glad I don't have your tax accountant or I would be in jail. LOL

Anybody who thinks they don't pay enough taxes are free to send more.

>>> I hate to say it, but it is fruitless to debate with you. Of course, you're entitled to your opinions, but that's all you ever show on subjects such as this. We are just wasting each other's time, or at least I feel I'm wasting mine.

Probably so...you didn't really expect me to go "Oh, you're absolutely right" when presented with a lame, propaganda filled argument, did you?

>>> Sure I like to do the little one-liner gibs and jabs, but from some of the posters here both, democrat and republican, I have actually gleaned some informative things - documented, indisputable facts that have merited coming here. All the best to you.

Ta!
