Chrysler: Look at yourselves Republicans

Looks like Chrysler, which is privately owned by rich Republicans, is pulling all its right-wing strings in DC to get it a piece of that auto bailout $$$.

Defense contractors. Big oil. Big pharma. Same thing for the past 8 years in which this Republican Administration has spent trillions and pulled every regulatory string to help its buds without any regard for everyone else. This is what you are about. While the top of the party goes on its personal feeding frenzy with your taxpayer dollars, they whip you up with issues like anti-stem cell research, anti-gay marriage, anti-liberal this and and liberal that. If you are a Republican making under 200K a year, you are getting played. Big time.

PS I am still for the auto bailout, but not to help rich Republicans. Rather I am strongly for it to help America because the terrible fallout due to one of these companies going under right now. I point this out to help Republicans understand their party's motivations and what their party is truly about.

In many ways it is difficult to debate with many conservatives here, because conservatives always feel they are right, their opinions are always right, their links are always right, Liberals links are always propaganda according to them. There is really no point trying to convince someone when they feel they are always right. This works both ways. In order to not cause arguments, politics and religion are taboo.

It is very clear that you aren't aware or know anything about Helms.

I think it's about respective. Some people feel he was while others feel he wasn't. I don't think either is wrong.

Helms was a big-time bigot/racist; and that is the very reason so many people continued to vote for him since the state is rampant with bigots and racists.

Do you often think you're wrong? Do you walk around saying..."I believe "X" but I'm probably wrong. I don't. I usually formulate my opinions based on multiple sources of information, experience and common sense. In order for you to convince me that I'm in error, you'd better have the facts to back you up, not just some left-wing, propaganda-filled, partisan hackery awash in hypocrisy...which is all to often what the left offers up to support their arguments.

>>> In order to not cause arguments, politics and religion are taboo.

I don't mind causing arguments...debate is how ideas are explored.

Especially with Obama and his crew pulling up with a backhoe.
