You do know that you are throwing a stone from a glass house again? Don't you? Or maybe you are the only person in America who won't acknowledge the truth about your President and Republican politico buds.

Everybody knows your Bushie boy hero is not only one of the very worst in our entire history, but he was a coke head drunk addict earlier in his life. But then your acknowledging that would be admitting the hypocrisy of your party, and Republicans never never ever do that.

Ta ta amigo

"As much as I dislike Bush, I don't condone throwing shoes at him."

It was a symbolic gesture. "Bush shoe-ing worst Arab insult" http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/7783325.stm

When Bush says having a shoe thrown at him by an Arab doesn't bother him, either he doesn't have a clue about Arab culture or he is saying "bring it on." Well over a hundred thousand innocent Iraqis died because of Bush. That reporter often wrote about the innocent victims. He threw that shoe from the bottom of his heart and soul.

I don't think Bush would command "Clinton bucks."

If you count what President Bush did as 'serving' his country then you must have a very loose definition for 'served'. When you compare the risk taken on by the actual soldiers during the Vietnam War to the 'risks' taken by Bush on an assignment that he was absent from for a large part of his enlistment - because he was working on someone's political campaign I seem to recall. Yeah - he served alright - his own interests as usual.

Regardless of how you feel about him he will be your president in just over a month!

President Bush 41 most certainly was a war hero, having fought in WWII and saving the lives of the men on his plane.

But Bush 43?

"Bush is so desperately trying to re-write history"

Olbermann says Bush is full of poop and I agree:

"Olbermann's prime example, however, was Bush's claim while visiting Afghanistan this week that "I never said the Taliban was eliminated, I said they were removed from power."

Olbermann refuted this a flurry of Bush quotes, including his statement in September 2004 that "the Taliban is no longer in existence." Bush has also repeatedly referred to the "defeat" of the Taliban and claimed in September 2002 that "the Taliban's ability to brutalize the Afghan people and to harbor and support terrorists has been virtually eliminated."

"See, here's the thing," Olbermann concluded, literally throwing up his hands. "The president is just full of crap.""

"Then, teetering on a dishonorable discharge, Dubya finally showed up for 36 days of "work" in 1973 before being prematurely and of course most honorably discharged. ;) "

What I never understood is how people let Bush off the hook for his selfish, cowardly decision to have his Daddy get him into Harvard Business school as a legacy and even though he did not merit it instead of using all those skills on which the government spent all our taxpayer money to teach him to fight for his country. Thus began the major themes that would mark baby Bush's career: ignoring merit in making appointment decisions and wasting government money.

I know what you are saying, but I'd rather had him say "May you burn in Hell" rather than a shoe.
