>>> Guess I must have been out of the loop. When did Clinton invade Iraq? How long did we occupy the country? Were there over 4000 fatalities?

Aah...so as far as liberals are concerned, it was honky-dory to bomb Iraq and kill innocent Iraqis because of non-existent WMDs and nuclear weapons, to deflect attention from an impeachment...it just wasn't ok to send in troops to actually accomplish something. Rrrriiiiiiggggghhhhhttttt...gotcha! Good thinking there. LOL!

<why was Bush going to start the invasion at that particular time? >

Because he wanted to.

Yes, but it simply states that an event happened...which wasn't in dispute. Israel claims that they were fired upon and they responded. Their prior conduct leads me to believe that this is true.

>>> That was rather low.

In your opinion. Sometimes the truth hurts.

>>> The poster is not lying to you, she's offering her opinion which obviously differs from yours. That doesn't make the post dishonest.

If you'll notice, you'll barely find a mention of Hamas...you know, the guys who have been firing rockets, and killing Israelis, for years and the ones who started this conflict and who are firing at the Israelis from the schools, hospitals and civilian neighborhoods...that's dishonest. There's obviously an agenda driving such a glaring omission.

One obscure article? Oh well...Israel doesn't control the Egyptian border (you might wonder why Egypt doesn't accept the refugees), but as Hamas uses the civilian population for cover, it's understandable that Israel wouldn't permit easy access across the border to "refugees." It has, however, opened the border to humanitarian aid on several occasions and the area AT the border is probably developing as a refugee camp.

>>> Israel bears the most blame, since they are the ones massacring civillians.

Er...correction...that should be...fighting to defend their citizens against terrorists who hide among innocent civilians.

>>> Israel also bears blame for not allowing refugees to flee. (The border with Israel is the bulk of the border.) Egypt bears blame for not opening the borders and allowing refugees out.

Both seem to have security concerns. I believe that both countries are allowing refugees to gather at the border in camps. That's about as safe as it gets while mitigating the risks.
