Jim Adkisson took his conservative beliefs to the max by entering a church in Tennessee and opening fire.

My personal view is that I abhor hate speech that comes in the form of and blanket generalizations (in the media with folks who have a big platform and many followers it is downright irresponsible) and I believe speech that calls upon people to commit violent acts is criminal.
We have laws against hate speech here in Canada though and while I agree that it's a difficult thing to enforce/define, there's a fine line between freedom of expression and determining what constitutes hate speech and it's very controversial....I'm pretty much OK with it.

Also, there will always be nutcases who will interpret things through their own distorted lens (like Manson and Beatles lyrics which endorsed nothing remotely close to his acts).
There's a big difference between that and someone in the public, with a huge following actually SAYING "kill these people or these people all deserve to suffer and die or these innocent victims of horrific violence (or a natural disaster) deserved what they got because of their political affiliation or the town/art of the country/world they happen to live"
BIG difference. A disturbed person does not need to twist anything in order to get something to conform to their desires, fantasies or views. It's already right there for them on a silver platter confirming and shaping their fantasies and proving that their prejudices are correct and justified.
>>No, just your statement of "Were does anyone get their views?
>>> this is a question as it appears that you have confused violence with evidence of calls to violence in left=wing American political discourse. Asking for clarification of your point is hardly support for violence.
You think these events were simply happenstance? There was a lot of political rhetoric...probably local, that precipitated these acts. Peaceful options were available...this is what they chose.
>>Betcha a million dollars the folks at TVUUC would prefer to have had their church "attacked" by leaflets that bullets.>>
>>> Neither is speculating that members of the TVUUC would have preferred if the act of violence committeed against them was leaflets thrown, rather than cold-blooded murder during a Children's performance supporting any act of violence.
And yet, there it is...qualifying the acts of violence in order to make one "more acceptable," and the people who committed the violence, less "despicable."
Right...we know...it's all just a big coincidence, isn't it?

>>> Well that proves it....EVEYRONE knows that all us Liberals are gay LOL.....
if you say so.
>>> but seriously folks, we were asking for examples of calls to violent acts from popular left-wing MEDIA sources (or from leaders/politicians themselves).
Is it natural for liberals to spontaneously gather and commit random acts of violence? Methink that there was some "calls to violence" by leaders/politicians.
>>> Now, if a radio announcer or author with a massive following among the left had advocated these attacks (either seriously, or in the form of "jokes" *wink wink*)....Then you'd have a case. Until then however......
You have links of some popular conservative radio host calling for violence? Links?
