Jim Adkisson took his conservative beliefs to the max by entering a church in Tennessee and opening fire.

Does that make you happy?
He said the riots would ensure a Democrat is not elected as president, and his listeners have a responsibility to make sure it happens.
"Riots in Denver, the Democrat Convention would see to it that we don't elect Democrats," Limbaugh said during Wednesday's radio broadcast. He then went on to say that's the best thing that could happen to the country.
Hmmm....How would I interpret that?
If that isn't calling for violence I don't know what is.
I don't think that anyone sorta, maybe, kinda got anything that was coming to them. I just think that there are a few less liberals out there.
Another reason
Sounds remarkably like a case of blaming the victim. Liberals “disturbed” and MADE Adkisson attack, maim, and kill a group of people he didn’t know personally? Is that what you’re saying? Nothing about the immorality and evil which led a man to attack, maim, and kill a group of people who shared a mindset toward tolerance and acceptance; but never personally hurt Adkisson? Ugh!
BTW, there are many phrases in his hate-filled diatribe which smack of certain “entertainers” like Ann Coulter, Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Michael Savage, etc. Adkisson had several books by right-wing polemicists in his possession at the time of his rampage. We knew of the books before (See: http://tinyurl.com/5es8zd) but not the extent to which Adkisson parroted their words and sentiments in his “explanation”. Opal probably started this thread to give concrete evidence (the PDF link) of the degree to which the right wing hate-mongers influenced Adkisson.
Adkisson clearly had a need to blame and lash-out at a group of people for his own inadequacies and disappointments. There are probably others like him, in varying degrees of bigotry, fear and rage. And the opportunist media figures of the right wing, in their egotism, greed for attention, and lust for lucre do their utmost to feed their poison to those damaged souls but have no responsibility or accountability.
So much for the moral majority!

…Limbaugh said with massive riots in Denver, which he called "Operation Chaos," the people on the far left would look bad.
"There won't be riots at our convention," Limbaugh said of the Republican National Convention. "We don't riot. We don't burn our cars. We don't burn down our houses. We don't kill our children. We don't do half the things the American left does."
>>Yes, I agree the point of this thread is hate speech and its impact.
>>>>> Adkisson clearly had a need to blame and lash-out at a group of people for his own inadequacies and disappointments.
Clearly, and that IMO is all there is to it.
I wonder what other books he had on his shelf besides named conservative pundits? What kind of music he listened to? What movies did he watch? Etc. etc.
*LOL* sure does!! I got the expected reaction from an asinine statement just to see how the left reacts. so yes it makes me happy! Now if only some people on the left can recognize their own asinine statements and have humor then all would be good...and realize how this subject is getting old.
did you really think i was serious?
